Birthday Poem Written for someone!

Was checking my saved notes when I came across this poem which I had written for someone a few months ago...

Here goes...

OH, IS IT YOUR BIRTHDAY TODAY?

I want you to get the heart-felt message in these lines,
I try my best to do my crazy rhymes.
Hope you take in the feelings and not just read through,
I wish a very happy birthday to you.

You are an amazing person,
You have taught me how to love friends without reason.
To me you are a very special person,
Without you my awesome life will worsen.

Tears don’t look good on you,
Then drinking milk because later you will get the flu.
I want you to be happy always smiling,
Even when sometimes we are fighting.

Oh, is it your birthday today?
Do you feel sweet devil on this day?
You are sweet devil every day.

I know you love your coffee a lot,
It’s sweet, bitter, smart, childish and hot.

Your friendship is so good it has to be grateful about,
How much ever I thank you it will be always less, no doubt.
You have indeed given me a good friendship and been a special friend,
To infinity let this relationship extend.

Oh, is it your birthday today?
Do you feel mental on this day?
You are mental every day.

Good values and morals you have taught me,
But you pessimism on good books is what I don’t agree.
I love it when you laugh on my jokes and actions,
And I will always make you laugh more there aren’t any options. (:

Thank you for being in my life and treating me good,
Don’t tell me ‘don’t thank me’ because I should.
Do you remember how we ate the butterscotch cone?
It’s amazing how our relationship has grown.

You should get my message I have told it like a smarty,
With that I want a big cake and an all-day party.

Oh, is it your birthday today?
Do you feel special on this day?
You are special every day.

I could have written more but I have to end,
So lastly, happy birthday my special friend.
A very happy birthday to you… again,
The end.

A poem written for me on my 23rd Birthday

If art is a lion, you are its master,
For every fractured design, you are the plaster.
You are a amazingly creative and also a learner,
Many others fail as they are much sterner.
Your work is always at its highest peak,
It charms us all and it does speak.
Just remember success lies in the want to learn,
Your focus should not waver by the money you earn.

Talking about the person you are,
You are certainly way above the par.
There are few who are as humble and nice,
For that one day you will get the price.

Just value your time and be less lazy,
I know the idea is slightly crazy.
Never from this passion of yours may you resign,
Because you are god's most perfect design.

In the end I know a lot of pain I cause,
My changes with your design never pause
But I hope you get irritated never,
And we remain the best 'business' friends forever!

Learnings from losing a high priced cell phone!

So once I was traveling in train - rush, people everywhere. I was wearing my headphones and listening to something, as I boarded the train the sound got cut off, and I realized that my cell phone had been stolen.

It was a high priced phone and I was heart broken at that time. Somehow I made it home. The incident made me angry and bitter for a couple of days. I tried convincing myself that it was fate, it was meant to happen and so on. But nothing quite seemed to work, I was still a bit upset about it.

Everything reminded me about that phone - google maps that I used to see on roads while traveling, its alarm clock, the every minute checking of whatsapp messages and email notifications and even the flashlight which used to accompany me every night in the dark!

But later this incident taught me really valuable and amazing life lesson - forgetting the past and dropping the weight of an incident that impacted you.
The past lives only in your head and nowhere else! So you have to learn to forget the past and that incident. Bad incidents happen all the time, but we have to learn to let go of the weight of negative emotions that we get by that bad incident. We just have to let that go because it is not going to serve your life.

I also have a pic of me and my cell phone. I am extremely thankful to Ankita (whose Samsung Note 2 was stolen, and I used to make fun of her, so much for karma...:) for purposely adding cake on my phone screen, and due to that I  HAVE a pic of me and my cell phone. (:

This pic was taken just 1 day before my phone got stolen this pic was actually clicked my fate lol

My teaching blog and a few points that make up a great teacher

Teaching in a way others cant, that's what will make students love you the most. Anyone can explain a few things directly from the text book, but only a few can actually create crazy similes or examples that make a student interested in a subject.

One of my favorite teachers used to say - Its the teachers fault when a student isn't listening to his/her lectures. And I completely agree with him, a teacher has to make a strategy for each and every lecture so that the students listen to the lecture. A lecture which has the main topic blended and camouflaged with jokes, a story or chalkboard art.

I feel sad when the I see many of the great students who have very good potential for teaching never teach. Some have that charisma that can attract a crowd when they speak but lack the knowledge. Some have the knowledge which needs to be shared but they have stage fear. Teaching is a tough job. I still remember my first lecture - I had stage fear, was scared if the students will like me or no and so on. And everyone has to over these obstacles to become a good teacher.

Here are a few autodidactic points which I believe makes someone a great teacher -

Knowledge - Self-explanatory, if you don't have the info you cant teach... Judge the students and interpret their questions before the lecture.

Humor - I am not implying that the students should laugh on your jokes here, but what I simply mean by humor is that you should have to skill to make the students smile with your one liners or clever comments or crazy examples.

Strictness - You need to have control over the students, over the class. If you have to punish someone to make others quiet, I would say do it. Show an angry face if you have to, throw someone out of the class if you have to but always keep them under control.

Expression strategy - Show the students how much of a passion you have for teaching; use props, use creative drawings, or mnemonics - to make them understand better. Your ways of expressing the subject should be amazing. Plan a good expression strategy.

Extra-knowledge giveaway - Always and always give them some topic-related extra knowledge, it can be a story of the past, or a real life application -  in short something the other teachers cant or wont give them. And I have noticed they always prepare  to listen with wide open eyes whenever I tell them I will now give them extra knowledge.

Motivational and inspirational book haters - Don't hate them!

Some people don't like fiction books, some don't like sci-fi books and some don't like books at all. But the most interesting thing I have come across in my life is that people don't like motivational/inspirational/life transformation books too....

And how do I know that? I read these kind of books all the time, and many people around me have literally asked me not to read it. (Shocker: including my mother, BUT she has told me not to read it just because I could invest my time in something else like prayer etc lol) And most others just tell me that its stupid, worthless, time-consuming, pointless to read a book on motivation or life transformation.

All of the books of this category rely on the basic moral science that we have already learned in school and is known by everyone else - here are a few examples
- Always be honest
- Do hard work
- Manage your time well
- Dream big
- Failing doesn't make you a failure

This is the basic reason why many people don't like these kind of books, because they already know most of this stuff and they feel its pointless reading it - and I agree with them. This stuff is repeated again and again BUT with different perspectives and different ways! And thats why I love reading them, I like picking a few quotes or lines from them so that I can tell someone the same when they are feeling low or need some kind of verbal help from me.

And most of my friends always message me on whatsapp to seek motivation or inspiration or  'I am sad, cheer me will you?' - and I love helping them. I always try to cheer them up with a quote/story from a book. ;)

I had also read an article which said that people who read these kind of books have low self-esteem and feel they are not using their full potential or something like that - But I think that's rubbish! And even if that is the case, they are trying to improve themselves so that's a good thing, right?

So if you are a Motivational and inspirational book hater, don't be!

I would like to end this blog with a few powerful motivational lines/quotes which I have read in many books.
  • Learn to accept the apology, that you never received.
  • Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for it to kill your enemy.
  • Casual attitude leads to casualties.
  • The soil says, 'Don't bring me your need, bring me your seed.'
  • Tough times don't last, tough people do!
  • Its not what you leave for your children, what what you leave in them.
  • At the end of our lives we all ask, 'Did I live? Did I love? Did I matter?'
  • Our days can be much happier when we give people a bit of our heart instead of a piece of our mind.
  • If you learn from defeat, you haven't really lost.
  • If you aim at nothing, you will hit every time.
  • You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.
And my favorite one is -
People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily.

Eggs are veg or nonveg - Mystery solved

Personal blog of IfuM

"Chicken eggs are vegetarian!" It is important that we do not misconstrue this thought here.

Educational visits are arranged to teach us many things, but we may learn something different from what was expected. And thats why I say "Never miss an educational visit, no matter how boring it is; because the trip isn't boring, its you who decides how boring it is going to be."

Now coming back to what I was telling you. Chicken eggs are used to cultivate viruses and we learnt this on an educational visit to Bombay Veterinary college. But what I learnt that eggs which we eat do not contain embryo.

Yes its true. After reading and research I found out that chicken can lay eggs with and WITHOUT mating with a rooster. The ones which do not mate produce unfertilized eggs which do not contain embryos.

So what is a vegetarian egg?
The eggs which we eat contain only egg yolk(a part of an egg which feeds the developing embryo) and the egg white(albumin) and no embryo. You are not eating any living thing per se you are eating only the proteins.

At first I used to think that people who say egg is veg are stupid, well they are not. I personally think that egg which we eat is also called 'table egg' which is veg.

We have all had the experience of thoughts or ideas occurring to us spontaneously rather than as a result of conscious deliberation and so with my knowledge I can say that table egg is veg! Give it a thought let me know what you think in the comment section below. Still the debate continues...

Walter White's car season 5 - Added on my 'Dream Car' list

Walter White gets himself a Chrysler 300 srt8 car in season 5 (episode 4) by selling his old car for just $50. I fell in love with this car the first time I saw it. Now its on my list of dream cars.

PewDiePie - Why is Felix 'PewDiePie' Kjellberg on my list of inspirational people?

PewDiePie for other people maybe just a simple youtuber who records himself playing video games but for me he is a comedian who displays just a video game in a form of a movie.

______________________________________________

List of crazily awesome things about him, from MY point of view:

Epic jokes - Jokes is one thing which I really love, and Felix's jokes never fail to make me laugh. He can also crack the most inappropriate joke and still make it sound cool.

Talks to non-living objects - I just love this quality of him, where he names and talks to a non-living object which can be anything like a barrel, ball, rock, painting etc. And each object has its own different personality.

Raised charity - He did a online campaign for 'Charity Water' where the goal was $250,000 and he raised $450,000.

Crazy love story - His love story is quite crazy about how he met an online girl and how he flew across countries (From Sweden to Italy) and met her.

Won Guinness world record - I am jealous !

He can touch his nose with his tongue - (No words.)

Pendrive cleaning didnt remove any viruses

My microbiology department has a number of microorganisms stored for experimental and academic practical purposes. However, we as microbiologist haven't compromised on any level, our computers have lots of viruses stored in them as well. Zing!

I dont usually carry a pendrive to college but for my presentations I have been carrying one. I just keep the pendrive in my back pocket in my jeans. So 1 week back, I came home from college and after changing clothes I dumped my jeans in the washing machine.

The next day I couldnt find my pendrive. I searched for long but couldn't find it. Finally I remembered it was in my pocket of my jeans. It turns out that I took my wallet, keys and handkerchief out of my jeans but forgot to take out my pendrive.

So then I checked my washing machine and found no clothes there. I asked my mom and she said she washed them.

So I checked my wet jeans and I found my pendrive in my back pocket, thanks to my washing power it had a shine on it now. I kept my pendrive in the sun for drying, after a few hours I plugged it in my computer. And it was working, surprisingly the water and the abrasive laundry detergent powder didnt do any damage to my pendrive.

But I still wouldn't recommend anyone to wash pendrive this way.

Dark humor jokes blog - My embarrassing/funny experience

Okay, so first of all, I would like to tell you what is a dark humor joke...
In the most simplest terms: its a joke on a sensitive topic, such as cancer, death, babies, rape etc.

Now people don't like them because of OBVIOUS reasons. I like reading them, not in an psychopathic kind of way, but I like reading and knowing/understanding the humor behind the joke. Humor is always been my thing and I love exploring different types of humor in any kind of joke; whether lame, stupid, jokes etc.

So let me share some examples of dark humor jokes with you.

Woman delivers baby. Doctor takes the baby, and throws it, smashing around the hospital room, drop-kicking it, etc. Mother starts freaking out, being held back by nurses, begging "WHYYYY!!??". Doctor holds baby upside down by the ankle and says "I'm just messing with you, it was born dead".

So a guy is walking with a young boy into the woods.
Boy: "hey mister its getting dark out and I'm scared"
Man: "how do you think I feel, I have to walk back alone"

Can you be recognised by your chat style?

Chatting, is now one of the most common ways of communicating with each other. I usually dont call anyone, I just send them a message via my phone (unless its really important.) So yes, chat is extremely common, and we all have made our own style of texting, chatting with other people. We all have developed our own language when it comes to chatting.

Can you be recognized by your chat style? While being anonymous of course. Well I would like to share an anecdote with just 2 images...

So to surprise one of my friends, I asked a question while being anonymous. And the reply which I got was this...

Sorry some parts of the image are blacked-out :P

Friends fail to understand a 'double negative' on friendship day

So many of my friends wished me 'happy friendship day' on Whatsapp. And well, I was gonna just type 's2u' and move on with my life, but I chose to be over smart, stupid me. And I did this...

Feels of a content creator at humor page on Facebook

In this blog, I would like to share not only mine, but every content creator's feels (I know that feel bro) who has uploaded funny pics on a Facebook page - because I know some of them personally.

Motto? - Everyone has a different motto to why they are being a content creator, giving away precious time uploading a few funny pictures for laughter of some one else. The motto is simple at first, its fame, don't judge, you would do the same. Let me just put it as 'recognition by others on the internet.'

We want to be recognized as people who can make people laugh, by sharing funny pictures. Most of us post pictures which are made by others(just lying somewhere between internet and space) and sharing them in front of a huge fanbase.

Story of OLRPHT

I was cs player, the things I enjoyed most was... can you guess it? winning? headshots? being better than other players? The thing I enjoyed most when I used to knife people; and a simple 'hahaha' was not enough to express my laughter.

So one day I combined all of the internet slangs and made a line "OMFG! LOL! ROFL! PMSL! HOLY SHIT! THAT WAS EPIC!" And from that day I spent day using this sentence in every game and then later I brought it to facebook. The day I created the page there were like 10 likes.

I used to hunt for funny images and share/upload these images on my profile. But later I thought about it and felt only a few people in my list are viewing my pics. So I started uploading it on my page.

Later the likes kept on increasing with HARD WORK, yes well if you may check there are many pages who share funny images but they have hardly few likes. And if you check the pages with many likes you will notice that they are very regular with uploading images and they put up the best ones.

Sharing funny images is not the point here, we all are busy, we all have other work to do. Sometimes people share for like 2 months then stop sharing because they lose interest. But you have to be very regular and keep searching the internet.

Then it comes to choosing the right people who want to work with you and think like you! My motto to share images on the page is not for fame, money or some advertisement purpose.

My motto is to make people happy and indirectly some force in nature will give me by blessings which I deserve for bringing joy to some online folks just by few efforts. I love humor and cracking jokes from time to time, ask any of my close friends about my jokes; its like I was born to make people happy :D

So finding people who will upload images with you should have a very similar thinking like you and finding someone on the internet is very hard. But I have assembled a crew of capable and awesome people who upload images on the page. If you cant find people who have same aim like you it wont work; and your aim can be anything, money, fame etc

There are somethings which make you feel alive, you maybe just like a vegetable; you are living but you may not feel alive at times, there are somethings (like books, friends, love, hobby, games) which make you feel alive. This is one of things which makes me feel alive, if you take it out of my life some part of me will be dead.

Thank you for reading my words of wisdom hope it inspired you to start your own facebook page, follow my personal facebook page: www.facebook.com/ifumd where I keep sharing the stuff I post on my blog. I also like drawing cartoons.

It was my destiny and not a regular place at my lab

I would like to talk about the place where I always used to do my practicals. So, my first partner in second year was Farheen and we had got the place which was extreme end of the table of the lab. She didnt like sitting at the extreme end so I used to sit there. After that my second year second-semester partner was Nikhil and he was the same, he didnt like to sit on the end. So the full second year I sat on the corner rotating from 1st row to last row sitting at the extreme corner of the lab.

Third year same story happened to me, my partner was Rutuja and we had again got the extreme end of the lab. Not only that my AC (applied component) practicals, Asawari  was my partner and same place we had got and I used to sit on the end again. And so the whole third year too, I sat on the extreme end doing my practicals. So it was basically two years now sitting on that exact same place. Well story does not end here. At my AC practical exams the seating is according to the seat numbers and guess what? I got the same place at the extreme end  :D

Not only that 1 week later I had my main practical exams, the seating was according to roll numbers again. My classmate before me had got two hall ticket numbers and due to that I had got the exact same place at the extreme end of my lab.

Long story short I always performed at that end of the lab for 2 years! I never really realized it the whole year. And in my vacations it just came into my mind and decided to blog about it.

I will never forget my lab place at the extreme end, which I would call it as my destiny performing practicals over there the whole 2 years of my life.

So in conclusion 6 times the class lab partners/exam seats were shuffled and all 28 people in my class had got different places every time except me, got always the corner of the lab! That place was more like my legacy then just an ordinary lab work place!

CS 1.6 - A part of my life

April 21st 2011 was the day when I left Counter Strike; it’s been 1 year since. I started playing when in 2007 when I was in school. I just wanted to share my experiences good points / bad points since I left CS. Let’s go with the bad points first.

Bad Points:
First and foremost, ADDICTION, it was a different kind of addiction. It was not a kind of addiction in which I would die if I didn’t play CS; it was a kind of addiction in which I had to be better and better every day.  I always felt each and every second other gamers were getting better than me, so I had to keep up by improving my gaming sense and shots . Second, money. Well I must say had to spend a lot of money on it on expensive gaming gears and charges of gaming cafe. Third, time wasted. Hours and hours of gaming, no limits what so ever. I could have done most things like maybe, studying or doing my assignments on time.
Destruction of social life; well not exactly, I was making a new social life which was more internet based. Social life on the internet is also very important now-a-days. #truestory

Good points:
After I completely left CS, some of the habits still remained inside me like staying awake at night for upto 3am. And I usually do my work; movie making, graphic designing, studying at night, so staying up late was not a problem from there on. Concentration for hours was one of the things which I had got from CS. But the most important good point was UNLIMITED FUN; funny moments, funny comments, winning, losing, making new friends from various other states (I even have friends from all around the world). Simple game made in 2003 can give me more fun than most things in the world; trust me that fun is totally worth it.
Joining ‘IGamerZ’ and creating my own movie making company, 5ivetwo Movie Making would not have been possible if I had not played CS. Till today I get friend request on facebook saying “dude, I am your fan, I love your cs movies” NOTHING in this world can give me more pleasure than reading this sentence in my inbox.

Final conclusions:
None, can’t make any conclusions because there are always two sides of the same coin, good stuff comes along with bad stuff. If you are still playing CS or you have stopped playing then you should know that you are lucky that CS is/was a part of your life.
